Easter Weekend
I should have posted something about our Easter weekend a while ago. But JD has been on school holidays, and I have been busy trying to occupy his time, bringing him out everyday to the parks, playground, bike riding, animal farm, science centre, IKEA and kitchen showroom!
We had a lovely Easter weekend and that included an Easter eggs hunt at a friend's place. JD collected enough chocolate eggs to last him till Christmas. This year I explained to him the meaning of Easter and I am not sure if he understands it all. I just don't want him to grow up thinking Easter = Chocolate Eggs and Hot Cross Buns!
We also brought him to Whiteman Park and he spent a good half day splashing around in the pool. We just sat back, watched him play, have coffee and enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon.
Play for Jayden is very simple. Water, slides and anything he can climb on. He can have hours of fun in a park, entertaining himself, making new friends, running around with kids he just met. Very simple fun really for a kid.

It's always us, parents who complicate things and insist on buying toys for them. hailey is the same - she loves playing outdoors -- whatmore with the sand bucket and such bought at the dollar store. and I try to justify the price of the those fisher price little people that I love. Hee hee.
