Today is Phil's birthday! I helped JD to make a card for his daddy. He applied the glue, sprinkled the glitters, rolled the crepe paper into little "cherries" for decorating the cake, it looks yummy enough to eat!
And here's the real cake we had tonight. This time we got the tripod out to take a family picture. Initially, I had planned to bake a cake for hubby with help from JD. But we are experiencing some serious heat wave and the mercury hit 42 deg c (107.6 deg f) today. So, I had to forgo the idea of baking and instead bought a cake from the bakery.
Today also marked the first birthday celebration hubby had with Chloe. A year ago, I was 4 months pregnant with her, and JD has matured so much in his look since then.

Happy belated birthday to Phil! That's a nice card...daddy must have felt very touched.
Very good picture. But Chloe still doesn't know the need to pose for the snap. She seems very interested in the cake. Wai gong said Chloe now had smooth round face.
