My Robots - JD's Version

JD loves robots, rockets, monsters and aliens. His passion for rockets and monsters have been going on for over a year, followed by robots for the last 3 months and in the last few weeks, the aliens are starting to join the scene too.

While doing his big business this week, he started talking to me about all the robots he has been building with his Lego blocks. I was only in the room next door sorting out the laundry and ran to grab the camera.

So, here you go, as JD talks about Spongy and what his robot and monsters like to eat.

I just came over from Stream in the Desert ... and wanted to tell you that you have inspired me to be more purposeful about time I spend with my boys (3.25 yrs and 5.5 months). I work part time (3 days) and am home the other 4 days of the week. I'm finally feeling like I have somewhat of a routine down after having the new baby. I like how you plan ahead to have themes for each week. It is a great way to "teach/learn" and communicate with your older child. You've also reminded me about our plans to have regular dates .... maybe later this fall when both boys are in school. Keep up the good work, fellow-mommie!

Hi Fay, thanks for dropping by. Thanks for your kind comment. I als just recently started on the weekly theme as I found it worked pretty well and I need to find ways to involve my kids in more play and learn activities. Like you, it also took me a while to get into this new routine and things got better when they both went down for their afternoon naps together at 1pm! That was a much relief! As for date with the hubby, go for it, as much as we love our kids, couple bonding time is just as important.
